WHY CHOOSE LVMFI?

The Las Vegas Media & Film Institute is a new non profit organization providing pathways to success for the Las Vegas community in media and film training. LVMFI has grassroots in the Las Vegas and Hollywood communities which provides a robust resource of professionals in media and film that we utilize to cultivate our trainings. We are focused and passionate about our community being able to have equal opportunity to enter the job market and career fields that are in the media and film industries. We understand that our training will provide a streamlined, hands on, coach-mentor, thorough, and fun environment. We will take safety, respect, professionalism, and creativity in mind when dealing with our workshop attendees. We aim to teach you more than what you knew about the media and film industry. We want you to focus on a specific department, find a union, become a freelancer, get certified, get listed in the directory, get help finding representation, and introduce you to work opportunities.

Relocation Assistance

Temporary housing and location resources for new residents to Las Vegas

Financial Assistance

Providing grants, scholarships, and loans to the community

Food Pantry

Weekly food kitchen that feeds the community and daily food pantry open

Youth Outreach

Training outreach programs for teen age and young adults in partnership with local schools and organizations

Intern Program

Selected students are given the opportunity to intern with production companies, studios, or crews

Mentorship Program

Selected students apply for a 1:1 mentorship program with an approved advisor from our network
